The Haitian American Nursing Organization & Allied (HANOA) will hold its 5th Annual Gala, "For Better Health "For Better Cities, "For Better World," at the EMBASSY SUITES Hotel 661 NW 53rd Street, Boca Raton, Florida, 33487, USA. December 6 2014 creating healthy environments in cities is more critical than ever before now that more than half the world's population lives in cities, with that number continuing to grow.

The Haitian American Nursing Organization & Allied (HANOA) has a proud tradition of bringing together the best minds, leaders, and practitioners to address its vital mission of advancing the health of people in urban settings, supporting healthy aging, preventing disease, and the elimination of health disparities," says Louise Lorraine Voltaire, HANOA Vice President, "This Gala serves to highlight our commitment to these objectives and to strengthen our ability to execute on these priorities," she added.

The Haitian American Nursing Organization & Allied (HANOA) will honor Medical Fields Leaders who use Philanthropy to improve health, particularly their participation to help launching the Belle Glade Multicultural Healthfair earlier this year. Leaders honored are:

Dr Jean Philip Austin MD for a Better Healthier Community
Dr Gibbs Williams MD for a Better Healthier City
Dr Edvrard Pharel MD, MPH, PsyD for a Better World

The event will also salute two key figures in HANOA's history: President Mr. Yves Labady will receive the Health Champion Award for his leadership and long tenure with The Haitian American Nursing Organization & Allied (HANOA) and Vice President Louise Lorraine Voltaire will receive special recognition for her longtime commitment to leadership of the Board of HANOA and her outstanding initiative in creating the Belle Glade Multicultural Health Fair.

We hope that as in the past, this year too you would support the gala by joining hands with us as a sponsor for the event. As a sponsor, your organization is sure to receive exposure from media campaigns and all promotions for the event. You will also gain exposure from the audience attending the event.
